More WILM foibles

Their source for wx is no longer MetroWeather but the NWS.

Also, why does Sean Green, when describing the conditions in Minquadale, stress that toponym with excitement? I mean, the only landmark in Minquadale is the NCCo police headquarters.

"Traffic jammed Southbound on Dupont Highway approaching Minquadale. Two right lanes blocked by police cars in front of Dunkin Donuts." ;D

Re: Traffic Reports

An update on our earlier traffic report. That accident on the Southbound side of DuPont Highway approaching Minquadale did involve two police crusers. However, the two police cars were parked on the shoulder of the Southbound lanes of Dupont Highway and were hit by a DART bus that was using the shoulder as its own traffic lane. The officers along with no one on the bus were hurt, but the police crusers were totaled. The officers were across the highway eating donuts at the Dunkin Donuts. They claimed to be eating the new Trans-fat Free Donuts. However, they were drinking Latte's. We'll keep you updated on further developments. Film tonight at 5:30 on Channel 12's Delaware Tonight newscast. Also be aware that your ride will be slower as traffic is backed up by the sandbox on I-95, so what else is new.......

Other than an accident somewhere causing a bigger tie up than the usual mess, most of the traffic reports on any of the stations, WDEL, WILM, and WJBR are pretty predictable.

Just like Mike missed the format changes on 104.5 and 106.1, perhaps he also missed the fact that TV stations no longer shoot on film.

What I was posting was tongue in cheek humor. The old expression "film at 11". So film at 5:30.
