Morgan Choat

Morgan Choat, who started in Fort Worth radio in 1957, and stayed "on the air" in Fort Worth (and surrounding areas) radio has died. Morgan was "on the air" for over 50 years in area radio and worked at several stations that were counrty music or are country music stations. He was close friends with many of the country singers of years past and many who are still performing. Morgan Choat was 86 years old.

I hate to hear this. I remember him from around 2,000 when he worked at Country Gold out of Cleburne. Really good guy who loved country music and enjoyed playing it for us. He'll be missed.
