Peggy Bunker has only been on the morning news something like 14 months? How many female morning news anchors has KOMO gone through since Margo Myers left in 2005? Six? Seven?

No kidding. But letting her go was the right thing for KOMO to do. Bunker read every story in the same robotic style no matter what it was about. And she had zero chemistry with Brad Goode.

The new weatherman and traffic reporters aren't that good either. Maybe it's time for them to blow out everyone and start new.

For instant attention, hire Julie Francavilla as the co-anchor, Rebecca Stevenson as the morning meteorologist, and Jenni Hogan to do traffic. This would at least generate attention.
