That's what Allaccess says. Any guesses on who is in next for "wake ups"?

No one. The only reason that Paul was there was because his contract had a few months to go when the main WJMK channel went to "Jack." They had to keep paying him anyway, so make him work on the HD2. When his contract was up, GOOD BYE.

Was Paul Perry hired at WJMK, or was that some sort of relocation of his existing contract with Infinity? Paul was at Infinity's WODS in Boston until the station replaced him with Dale Dorman, a market legend who wasn't on the beach long. But his contract wasn't over when he was fired from WODS, and he started at WJMK only a few weeks after.

Perhaps moving one of the remaining WJMK personalities to AM drive would be a wise move for the station, as there are probably more HD car radios out there than HD radios that would actually be in someone's office. Then again, the streaming online must help listenership.

> pete perry while a nice guy had no impact on the chicago radio scene at all....if wjmk stays with hd...they will bring in a morning guy just not a multi 'thousand' guy.....union minimum type deal...perhaps john calhoun or connie szcerzen
