What does that statement say about Tim Orff? He followed Stephen Duane Barnes (just got sued) and Dominic Joseph Zaccagnini.RTibbs said:Once again proving the theory, never be the one who follows a legend be the one after that.

Mid West Clubber said:So what was the problem with the mess? I listened to them hear in Indy and thought they were good. Did they just not fit in with the market, are they more of a midwestern show,,,, not really an adult friendly show when it was here, so I was surprised that Conservative Southern Star brought them on.
CHRles said:I think part of the problem was indeed Star 94's format leaning too much on the adult side whereas the morning show had a younger/wilder/youthful feel to it.
Is Star still Talk-intensive in afternoons? Hows that working out for them?
RTibbs said:Shucks, us folk here in this sleepy southern town of Atlanta, just can't adjust to the the big-city talents of The Mess.
Neil Millman said:I was hanging out with a radio legend last night and he said they would be the next to go.

There are exceptions to that. In Washington, when Howard Stern left DC101, the Greaseman came in, and the station and its ratings didn't miss a beat.
