Morning Mess on WNOU

Just read that these guys signed a multi-year contract. I guess they must have gotten better in past few months. :-\

Or... Emmis looked around and couldn't find something better. That's the problem with downsizing & automating. When you take away the training grounds for newbies, the talent pool grows smaller and smaller. So many "learning" shifts have been automated, there is less and less a chance for someone to learn.

Please don't think I'm slamming "The Morning Mess". I've never heard them. They may well be deserving of their new contract. But speaking from a middle management position, I can tell you that finding quality canidates for openings is tough.

Off my soap-box now and back to finding a new part timer for
Saturday nights. :-\

I've never heard them either, they might be fantastic on the air but a *friend* who works closely with them tells me they arent much fun to be around.

WNOU/Radio Now's "Morning Mess" IS, in my opinion, a good morning show. Now granted, it's not "Bob and Tom," but it's entertaining, and it gives listeners the NECESSARY news and info to start the day. And here's a concept: THEY PLAY MUSIC!!!

I disagree, they are not a good morning show. They are 2 interns and a turd. Granted, the show is better than when they had the wife cheater in with Marco, but it still sounds phoney and high school like. But, considering the audience, it may work. I don't know, I still think it is bad, but then again, I drink a lot....

Dammit Bandit.......you sure are harsh. Maybe you are out of the demo. :)

Bandit... You're right, it sounds "high school like." The whole station does!I'm also sorry to say that your opinion (nor mine for that matter) count on the "Morning Mess." I'm not sure about you, but I'm not a female... And females are their target audience...
