Morning Show Changes

It looks like Wild 95.5 has dropped Elvis Duran, and is going to switch to a music-intensive, voice tracked morning show (tracked by Y-100's Mack). Anyone with any ideas on why? Low ratings? Signal overlap with Y, which will continue to run Elvis Duran? Wild has been advertising the change all week, and has been directing listeners to Y100 to continue listening to Elvis Duran.

Also, Mo and Sally have added a station. 95.3 WOLZ in Fort Myers, which has dropped the "River" branding, picked up the duo. I was unaware of this until I was in Fort Myers earlier this week.

I guess The KVJ Show leaving has proved to be fatal for the station. And guess what, WLDI didn't even want them when they came back because they wanted a national show instead of something local.

That's WLDI's fault on that end.

I would bet that not hiring KVJ back was a corporate decision, not a local one. In addition, I'm not so sure a voice tracked, music intensive morning show, in my opinion, is not the answer.
