Morning Show for Now FM?

Is there gonna be a morning show for Now FM? Not that it really matters, they suck anyway. Z100 is good, I didn't really care for KRock all that much either but if they went alternative then I'd like them but more of an alternative-CHR approach.

This station's biggest problem is that it doesnt realize that this is not Detroit. It's trying too hard to be Channel 95-5 and the jock mentality/presentation needs to be changed up a bit. While it's true that New Yorkers/Jerseys may appear to be a bit rude, it's not to the same extent as folks in eastern Michigan where a negative attitude is almost a sport. Overall the talent is good, but it should model its presentation after Power 96 Miami - jocks who just sound like they're having a lot of fun, whose lingo mirrors some of their trendier listeners, and they relate extremely well to their audience at all times. Most importantly Power 96 is musically customized for its market, something that in New York Z-100 is doing far better than Now. If WXRK wants to lean more Rhythmic fine, but the music mix should be a bit less cookie cutter, a bit more cutting edge (ala 97.1 Amp Radio), and Recurrent/Gold library list needs to be expanded ASAP. It is nice to see them playing Serani's "No Games", which was big on some CHRs in Canada, as well as the new David Guetta hit.

They're playing a few songs on Now that I heard on Pulse months ago. As Pulse 87 puts it: "Hear new music now on Pulse 87. Hear it later on...Now?"

unfortunately for Pulse, people just can't get it... I don't mind the music on Pulse, I like dance music, I just don't like static (when I can get it) and I don't want to be tied to my computer to hear it... and has anyone else had trouble with their iPhone app?

Actually, I can't think of Chunky as somebody who gets up much before the stroke of noon.

NOW FM is doing horrible because of all the additions of personalities. AMP in LA did great the first month of its launch because they ran personality free for almost a month and were seeing very good numbers (which then led to the launch of NOW and CBS's expectancy to see NOW post large numbers in its launch). Lisa Paige, NOW's PD, simply does not know how to run a radio station. She added personalities almost a week after the station launched (which was a wrong move if they wanted to compete with Z100) and there's less than 50 songs on the playlist. Z100 has about twice as much music as NOW does. I know some stations like to have a very vague playlist in their first few days, but NOW has overpassed that mark.
NOW (if they want to stay focused and try to be a little successful like their cross country sister AMP) need to...
-Stop adding new personalities
-Add more recurrents
-NO MORNING SHOW
Try to compete with the Morning Zoo with MUSIC. The people want MUSIC. Why do you think they all bought iPods?

It's time for a morning show on Now FM. It lasts to long. It's important for listeners to hear traffic and weather but I don't hear it in this jockless 'morning show'.

Usually people post complaining about no jocks. If CBS wants to have personalities, what is the problem? As for NooYork personalities, when WMCA and WABC were at their height, they sounded Noo York because of high intensity personalities who sounded like they were having fun plus they were a little folksy in a NOO York neighborhood way. Like Cousin Brucie said to paraphrase------New Yorkers are corney hence the "cousin" moniker. But then again, do the listeners to a 21st century CHR want that?
