103.7 WNNJ in Franklin, New Jersey has an immediate opening for a Morning Show Host. Work with seasoned radio professionals in brand new state of the art studios within the shadow of New York City.

Our current talent is on to greener pastures and you could be on air June 22nd!

Responsibilities: Deliver an entertaining, informative and locally based topical show everyday while bringing fresh promotional ideas to the table that relates to the Male 25-54 demo. Plus daily production duties and regular station appearances required.

Get the support and tools you’ll need to win as we wrap the entire station around you!

Requirements:
College degree, equivalent and/ or training with a minimum 5 years on air commercial radio experience with a proven track record. Knowledge of all FCC rules and regulations

Become part of the community and be prepared to do whatever it takes to win

I think if NNJ wanted to make a big splash, they should see if WSBG's Gary in the Morning is still available.
Clear Channel desperately wants the ad $$$ in Monroe, and Gary could bring alot of that and listeners in, and he would work well with the classic rock format. A no brainer, wonder if we'll see it happen, although CC is notoriously cheap, so who knows, personally I think it would be a great fit, and I would listen on my drives thru NW NJ... Any thoughts???
 
Now that is a terrific idea Habu! Gary is very well known in Northwest NJ, having held down the afternoon shift at WRNJ for several years.
I wonder why no one else thought of this?????

very interesting....Gary Smith to mornings oin 'NNJ? He could "almost" say...been there done that.
Back in the 80's he was doing mornings on WIXL-103.7 which at that time was country. He left there to go to PM Drive on WRNJ...during the time that "BoB Allen" (aka Aaronsen) was doing mornings there.
And despite the fact he's been in Stroudsburg many years....he's originally from North Jersey.
