Rumor of a major show not being renewed and show announced it on air :-\ Is this a stunt or real ???

T-Man's done. He talked about it this morning. He'll ride out his contract then go on a personal hiatus.

Indeed with the new world of PPM, if I were medium to high-paid morning talent, I'd be concerned.

T-Man is the first victim of the PPM dropping to 23rd 25-54 so I guess I can of expected it :-[
He was the first for Seattle of an edgy style of morning cowboy that is fast disappearing in the PPM world but had huge numbers in the diary and a hell of a run in Seattle :-\

At one time wasn't the T-Man show carried in PDX, SF, and multiple smaller markets? I think I heard him once in Yakima even.

Not happy to hear this. I know you've done well and will end up in a better gig if you want. I think CC blew it when S.K. was let go from your show.
You guys had great chemistry.

oh please.... the T in Tman was for tired. He was done years ago. The curtain has been pulled back.

When T-Man started on KUBE in the mid-nineties, I was amazed at how much of his act he copped from Stern. He even used certain phrases verbatim ("You may hate me at first, but I'll grow on you like a fungus") not to mention the whole horny New Yorker schtick, the female sidekick and bringing certain callers in as part of the show (Dysfunctional Family / Wack Pack). He caught fire because Stern hadn't been on the air in Seattle yet and by the time KISW brought in Stern, T-Man had established himself pretty well. If his show doesn't do well in the PPM world, I suppose that doesn't bode well for Stern returning to terrestrial radio.
