Mornings-Continuing Audio Problems on The River 100.3

Today, I've noticed during the Rick and Bubba show the audio started to act up again. I don't know how to describe it properly, but basically the audio gets cut off and on and a loud popping static sound occurs. It didn't last long compare to before, but I've notice this problem occurs every once in a while ever since the River started to carry the show. What is this problem called and what causes this to continue?
