Something worse than this happened in Cincinnati a few years ago. In Cincinnati, 'Cops' is HUGELY popular. But Channel 19 completely cut off the first 10 minutes of an episode to show the weatherman talking a thunderstorm...IN ILLINOIS!!!Around the same time, Channel 19 cut out all the audio of the SEASON PREMIERE of 'The Simpsons' to play an unintelligible robot voice announcing a thunderstorm watch that wasn't anywhere near Cincinnati. This robot voice lasted the entire duration of the show - except the commercials, of course. If the commercials don't get full clearance, O the world will end, I guess.Tim-In-Houston said:I remember reading a couple years ago that WGNO-New Orleans squeezed the Oscar telecast down to do a split screen to announce a severe thunderstorm......in Memphis, TN.
