Most exciting type of DXing .... AM or FM?

I find FM DXing to be most exciting.

I just caught 107.3 the Brew from Wichita, KS on my tabletop radio. Wichita is a rare catch for me. It is over 200 miles to my WNW. I daily get Tulsa, OK stations. Tulsa is approx. 105 miles SW of my location.

I'm pretty much exclusively an AM guy for DX, although I also enjoy occasional forays into FM and SW. I guess its because AM is "open for business" pretty much every night of the year, and there are also just enough variables with daytime DX to keep me interested.
