Most Listened To Station In L.A.: Pandora!

Just because the word 'radio' is in the name (I Heart Radio) does not make it radio. All indicators are pointing to the fact that CC isn't making bucks with that too.

Pandora and I Heart Radio are INTERNET services. They are not OVER THE AIR radio. That's my main point.

Everyone has their own definition. Does it need to have melody to make it music?

So am I watching television when my flatscreen is hooked to cable, satellite, or an internet service? Or am I watching something else? Does it have to be OTA to be television?

The reality is that Pandora IS NOT radio. Period. End of discussion.

It is an INTERNET service. Plug in a song and then hear a BUNCH of STIFFS.

It will never be RADIO. That's why the business model is a failure.

This is like saying (back in the 70's) that your record player is a radio.

Just because it makes a sound, DOES NOT make it a radio.

I don't think it's radio either...more of a limited-input jukebox, really. But I think it could replace radio for a significant number of people.

Spotify, which opens up the library and lets you play what you want, is more appealing to me, but I'm an ex-DJ and PD. It might be too much time and effort for the average listener.

In the strictest sense, you're watching video, but not television. Both TV and radio are means of transmission, not the programming itself. But we're going to call it television and radio because the experience is the same.
