Mother Jones Radio on AAR

Thanks for the info. Programs with similar subjects have been available for years, e.g. Jeff Rense, Laura Lee, Whitley Streiber, Chuck Harder (some of his programs), and Transitions out of Santa Fe with Alan Hunter and Elizabeth Rose. But Air America isn't putting these veteran broadcasters on health, nutrition, and the environment on the air. This is a perpetural question on this board...the same question has been asked repeatedly for weekday talent. Why does AAR not syndicate experienced veteran broadcasters on ecology and nutrition? Or, do the hosts in question decline offers from AAR?

Most listeners will continue to listen to "conservative" stations on weekends, with Bob Brinker, Bruce Dumont, Glenn Haege (sp.), and local gardening and real estate programming. If Air America syndicated Laura Lee, who last time I checked was only available as a program on the net, she would get a large audience in a very short period of time...Laura Lee has covered science, nutrition, and health topics since at least the late 1980's, and syndicated on at least two occassions (weekdays one time and weekends the other) in the early to mid 1990's.

Likewise for Whitley Streiber, who now is syndicated by IBC radio networks. Whitley is not just UFO's...he is also 9-1-1 conspiracies, corruption of the Presidency, global warming, extinctions, pollution, autism, etc. As former host of "Dreamland" and sub host for Art Bell, Whitley has strong name recognition and would really increase the ratings of Air America's weekend programming.

> Autism? Sounds like he either may have some points on this--or it could be some conspiracy theories about it. I know living with this condition all my life.
