Mountain Man, the last from the HJJ good days

Mountain man was the last of the WHJJ crew, (with the exception of Steve McDonald/Jim Shorts who is still there) from the late 80's through late 90's when 920 was competitive with WPRO.

He was there when HJJ, at various times had a talk lineup that included, the late Sherm Strickhouser, Steve Kass, Buddy Cianci, Arlene Violet, the late Steve White, and others of less note.

The news department, which included an all news format from 5-9 a.m. weekdays and 6-9 a.m. weekends, had people like John Capilio, Greg Perry, and a host of other solid news reporters.

It was a great time for listeners when those two stations used to slug it out. Alas, those days are gone.

Glad you jumped before you got pushed Mountain Man, good luck!

One of the best posts here ever, Media! You said it ALL!
