Does anyone know how far off the face of a tower an FM broadcast antenna should be mounted to insure the least amount of effect by the tower on the signal coverage? For 12 inch, 24 inch and three foot faces and for a mount on a leg? Thanks in advance for any help
Bob
Yes, the manufacturer will have designed the antenna for a specific spacing. It is best to check with them. It is more critical for a narrowband antenna as the spacing affects the tuning. You will likely want to mount the antennas on a vertical pole spaced away from the tower face. What sort of antenna are you going to use?
