Move-Ins

Are there any more move-ins signal left for the Seattle market? I know KLOP 88.1 and KANY 93.7 are next to move into the Seattle Metro Area. Any others?

Send me lots of $$$ and it could be yours...

looks like radio rancher, mr wolfenbarger raised up some calves, and some are now fattened up, and ready to go to market for hopefully a decent profit.

hmm...93.7 huh? listening range into seattle and further east by a bit? from the late 80's thru the mid 90's, i used to listen to CJJR 93.7 (JR country) out of vancouver BC,(which kicked ass over the pathetic seattle country outlets) , and they came in decent east of Issaquah, through north bend, where my driving duties took me then. I even got to know long time afternoon driver "big daddy" dave mcCormick. wonder how that broadcast signal will be affected? although, CJJR aint what it used to be, and dave McCormick is long gone.

okay, mr bongwater......here is a decent pen. between your check book, and my pen, guess that would make us 50/50 partners on this purchase. we can discuss the format over a bottle of bourbon!

oh, um..... can i have my pen back please!

dave told me he used to do seattle radio back in the 60's or 70's, but i dont remember the calls. ktac? maybe. he used to always ask me about some of the old names in seattle radio, bob hardwick etc, and if they still around.

got to meet dave a few times, including at CJJR b-day party, and country radio seminar in nashville somewheres around 93 or 94 i think.

great legendary country radio talent...glad you heard of him.....hope he's still doin it. he used to always be proud that he kept his afternoon shift despite constant change in management corporate suite people, and air staff. CJJR, had finally put him out to pasture, but he stayed doin a classic country show on sunday nights for a few years...

he was kjr &, I believe, also kol at one point.

He was doing "big band" show @ 600 in Vancouver ... that's why I thought me moved to CISL (650) because I remember thinking it was just a little nudge up the dial. Very nice person.
