"moVin' 102.5"?

I heard a promo on V-102.5 that both said "music that makes you move" and included (emphasized?) the word "movin'". Piggybacking on Scott-WMRO's rumor from a couple months back, any chance Nashville will soon hear "Movin' 102.5"?

If these posts can be edited,

I do not know how. Anyway,

How embarassed am I. Nothing but a fraud and a plagiarist. There was a thread from March '07 about this very thing, including what I thought was clever and original: "moVin' 102.5"

Edited??? Like removed? Not by mere mortals. Only the RIGODS can grant you such wishes.

Don't be embarassed...we all have stories of posts we regret ever hitting the Post button on.
Especially for Scott when he runs out of Arbor Mist.

"Movin' 102.5"? didn't hey uugghhh...try this on the other station you know..MOO 102 ;)...THEN CHANGED TO POWER COUNTRY..PC 103...Coyote was even there at that point..just trying to be humorous with the MOOVIN THANG...

I may be the only radio outsider on the board,

I know there aren't many of us. When I was growing up, and my firends' heroes were cowboys, emergency workers, athletes, mine were always djs. later to be radio station owners.

Before I die (I'm 54), I would consider it a great privilege to hear the AM story(=ies).

How to edit...

Click on the diamond-shaped icon in either the upper right or lower right corner of your message, once you have posted it. (The one in the upper right hand corner will have the word "modify" next to it.) Apparently, this option is not indefinite, as I do not see those diamond shaped icons on all of my messages.

Also, when you edit, you will not have the option of clicking on smiley faces, or "bolding" your text, but I suppose you could manually type in the characters that would do those things for you. If your repost is more than a couple of minutes after your original post, you will see the italicized "last edit at (time) by (you)."

Now, back to the subject matter at hand, when was this "Movin' 102.5" said on the air? I was listening "beat to beat, and back to back" again last night, and heard no mention of this! ???

me too dean, I did it for a few years and then life forced me to get a real job. I had a limited amount of talent, but a large amount of ego. Back then I thought that all a jock had to do was play music and make smart a$ comments, and I thought I was good at both, boy was I wrong.

Thanks for the heads up about the diamond.

(I'm sure that was well-known to everyone but me :))

It was Friday night, and likely just about that show. Oh, well... Unfounded rumors are harmless, huh?
