Movin' 99.1

I heard from 100000watts.com that WSMK 99.1 in South Bend flipped to Movin'. I can't find an updated website though. I don't know if WSMK ever streamed? I'd love to know how this station is sounding!

It sounds pretty good. I can't tell that it is a satellite format (waitt radio). Sounds pretty local to me and I hope with their better blend of urban and non-urban music (in a rather 'urban Jack' format), it should make some strides. Hip Hop on their channel has been blown away by 95.7 and their presentation/how close they are to be heard in South Bend-Elkhart.

It's Waitt, according to Indiana RadioWatch [source: http://www.well.com/~irw/archive/030208.html ]

"Rhythmic CHR/WSMK (99.1fm, Buchanan, Michigan) flips format to Rhythmic Oldies, using Waitt Radio Networks' "MOViN" satellite format. Their website ("Under Construction") remains http://www.wsmkradio.com/"

However, I did hear some live local programming (Traffic/Weather) in AM drive. I don't know if that programming is from a human in South Bend, or customized information from humans at Waitt in Omaha.
