There actully is another X100, its in Atlanta. They probably wouldn't do this because no one in there Target Demo listened to the old X100

He probably means 99X, Cumulus' active rocker that is on a translator via an HD2.

I've been hearing very subtle hints of 'NOW' in their sweepers. Something like, "MOViN 997, New music.... NOW!" Looks like they are going to gradually build it up to 997 NOW RADIO.

Any word on when the big rebranding is scheduled to take place??

Why would they change now??

Like KOIT, I'm guessing they wouldn't want to. There's no point - the station is on the rise, so why confuse listeners? And I'm sure there are big expenses involved - repainting the van, new marketing materials, etc.

I don't see the point, unless they're flipping formats, and nobody has suggested that. I think people just like to liven up the SF Board with these speculationse.

I do not understand CBS' affection for "Now". That moniker doesn't do anything for me. Are the "Now" stations doing well around the country? "Amp" seems so much better.

CBS only owns 2 "NOW" stations... 92.3 NOW NYC and NOW 100.5 Sacramento (even though this one is more Adult Top 40). NOW in New York isn't doing bad, but not too great either. Not too long ago they managed to crack a 3-share for the first time in their CHR format.

NOW in Sacramento is a huge improvement, it's doing way better than when it was "The Zone".

The rest of the Now stations are either owned by CC or someone else.
