Not a chance. That's just the same type of predictions that were made for KLOS after Arrow flipped to Jack.vonrollskyway1 said:nope.since kbig flipped,i believe movin will move up. ;D
If you knew anything, you'd know the Boomer WAS FIRED at Movin 93.9. They told him he was too old sounding. He SUCKED upon his return to Los Angeles radio. All he'd do is get his friends to call in and do congradulatory calls stroking his ego.vonrollskyway1 said:so if emmis is a failure, then why is power 106 still on the air ?born in 1986 kpwr los angeles.lets just see what happens.i feel movin needs to work on the on air personalities.bring back a radio veteran.the boomer joe servantes.
Boomer was fired. You are wrong. [EDIT]vonrollskyway1 said:bull sh--!boomer wasnt fired he makes more money doing voiceovers.as for knowing facts ,ive been in the radio buisness for 15 years.facts.lets see proof [EDIT]

:nvrbbh said:Nothing like hearing "The Hustle" and "Hollaback Girl" back to back on Movin during the 5 PM hour. What a mess. Makes KBIG look like it was a well programmed radio station.
my feelings exactly.sfradio said:yeah and its great hearing the same music that is what i can find on 103.5 and 98.7
I suggest you compare the playlists of the three stations and come back and post how My has the exact same songs as both KOST and STAR. You won't be able to do it since they don't.vonrollskyway1 said:my feelings exactly.sfradio said:yeah and its great hearing the same music that is what i can find on 103.5 and 98.7
if they where smart they would just keep movin and get the ratings from the flip of kbignvrbbh said:If anyone at Emmis had a brain, they'd flip Movin to some form of Active Rock or Alternative and go after KROQ. With Indie dying a slow death (great trend), somebody should go after them. With the PPM showing males listen basically twice as much as under the old ratings system, this would be a smart move for someone especially considering the money KROQ will be making if no one goes after them next year.
Rick Dees morning show. Millions of dollars per year for it and this all you get for it? I've been saying for a year to kill off this format as it was a loser. What are they waiting for to kill off Emmis as a company? I certainly hope so as their second largest shareholder wants http://cms.ibj.com/ASPXPages/6iframes/FrontEndArticlesDetailPage.aspx?ArticleID=04317&NoFrame=1
KBIG did not flip formats. They modified their format. There will be no "bump" for Movin because of My. Just as there was none for KLOS when Arrow changed to Jack.sfradio said:if they where smart they would just keep movin and get the ratings from the flip of kbignvrbbh said:If anyone at Emmis had a brain, they'd flip Movin to some form of Active Rock or Alternative and go after KROQ. The public has had a year to check out Movin. It's a failure. Rick Dees is a failure. Rick Dees has ruined what was left of his career at Movin. He's an old, unhip guy who thought he could come back and beat Ryan Seacrest. That's all he wanted. It didn't happen. Instead, he's exposed that he knows nothing about Hispanics and ruined his "Ricardo Diaz" persona from KIIS. He's made himself look like a fool with the "butt" spots that went nowhere. It's over. Emmis has spent millions and failed. How much longer can you kill a dead horse?
I would never consider working for a company as cheap as Emmis.sfradio said:what? did you get fired from emmis or something? you seem bitter at them, hahahnvrbbh said:KBIG did not flip formats.
