Movin Format

Does anyone think in 2007 that the Movin' format will come to Chicago?
I know it isn't everyone's favorite, but I think a market as diverse as Chicago needs a movin' station.
Even a market like STL with its aging population has the movin format, why can't Chicago?
Get rid of Love FM or Jack.

Did Jammin oldies ever make it's way to Chicago and stay?. Movin is just a rehash of that as far as I can see.

Not gonna happen. Its a good format but its highly unproven. The launch of new Movin stations came to a screeching halt after ratings books showed not so good ratings. Seattle is the only true success story so far.

You really think so? Stranger things have happened. Look at that fiasco "Jack FM", somehow that trainwreck just keeps chuging along. I don't see how Movin could do worse.

It would be nice to have Movin' here with more of a Urban Flavor....There needs to be a "Black" Jack as well IMO...Done from a CLUB point a view both formats would be a good move......

I agree with everything Jeremy said, I would also add that LOVE is too close to MOVIN' for there to be a hole for the format in Chicago.

I do not think that any formats that will flip in the Chicago area for a long time!

Close, but no cigar.

If anybody does end up going Movin it will probably be Love FM

1. They have the Movin voice talent on there. They have ever since they flipped The River in St. Louis.

2. What else are they going to put on there? I've been thinking AC so they can stick it to The Lite but since Bonneville is in a deal with Burns for other stations in their company, Movin would probably be a top possibility,
