MOVIN' HITS THE ROSE CITY

I wonder how Rivers feels about this? Hasn't he always wanted to be syndicated yet it seems CBS doesn't oblige and when they finally do, they don't keep him on in that market long enough to make an impact.

I do a lot of buying in Portland. That 80's station debuted the strongest and outlasted them all. It wasn't until Jack (Charlie in PDX) came to town that the 80's station finally died. The last of its kind.

Bob Rivers was just catching on. Second time he has been canned in Portland. MOVIN format in PDX is consulted by Mike Preston of Seattle fame, now running MOVIN in SF.

mammaknowsbest and the rest of the "Seattle Team" must be exhausted! They are the ones responsible for getting all of these stations off the ground!

Jealous that a format comes out of Seattle first? To be fair, the Seattle team at Sandusky is not involved in the MOVIN launch in Portland or SF. My bet is Mike Preston, who is from the Seattle market is heavily using Sandusky's West Coast research and launch technique since it has taken Seattle by storm.

Funny how everyone wanted KLSY to change and now that it is successful again as MOVIN, this board wants to see it fail and refused to congratulate Lisa, Mark and their team.

Holy crap! Wait a few books, if Movin is up, then I'll congratulate. Movin has only had a few trends... relax! We'll see how Movin does when the TV money runs out and they have a few books under their belt.

Are you saying that Sandusky gave Mike Preston their research?
