Movin PM Drive and WARM morning

I see afternoon slot @ Movin is being advertised.
What happened to Jax?

Also where did Seth go - mornings on Movin. Looks like they brought back former sister station PD Barry McKay for that role.

McKay has been back in mornings for about a year tracking remotely from Norfolk VA where he is PD/afternoon host at "92.9 The Wave" WTWV-FM.

It's for both KQMV and KIXI, I know a couple people who threw their hat in the ring there. What happened to Cat Thomas? I thought he was PD now.

On the plus side, it potentially discourages somone to move from out of market unless they really know how to negotiate their contract; if it even is a contract position for 2 or 3 years.

Is Warm having a hard time attracting listeners? A tracked morning show from another market is a bit of a disappointment. I believe their afternoon drive slot is also tracked, so that leaves Shellie Hart as being the only local presence on 106.9.

I've found Warm to be a bit of a disappointment in recent years. I was in the market for a few hours around Christmas time, and had the station on from home one day as well. There were multiple times when I forgot there was a jock on because I hadn't heard anything but imaging and music for like half an hour, then a brief mic break. I've never understood why stations do this.

There were quite a few issues with Star 101.5, but I always thought they got the personality part right. It felt local. The mixture of music didn’t really land (not with me either), but I thought the morning show was always solid up until the end.

I really don’t care about the music I hear on the radio that much these days. There is a myriad of apps I can use to listen to whatever music I want to hear. But I always come back to local radio to hear what’s going on locally in the market. A lot of tracked shows don’t capture that very well.

Warm's morning show is from another market now? I'm very disappointed that the mighty Warm 106.9 has fallen to this. You are in a top-15 market, NOT in Boise or Billings! I miss Tom McCarthy and Will Johnson. Great talent on WARM in the '00s, especially during the holidays.
