Movin Website

I don't think anyone else posted this here, but the Movin website is www.movindfw.com . Look's okay I guess... except for the gaudy cheap looking ads at the bottom. And by the way, no, I don't want to refinance my house, car, dog, futon, microwave or anything else for that matter!

I personally think the site is cheesier than Chester Cheetah, but maybe that's just me. Even CC sites, so busy and crassly commercial, catch your eye. This one is like a lava lamp with right angles.

i would have to agree the website is horrible!

the basic set up is similar to jack fm to me, but i love that jack has so much going on... but movin is a new station. so i do expect a lot when you are fighting jack for listeners

With the kind of format Movin is, the website should reflect it's image. Fun, Colorful, MOVIN. It just lays there. No doubt another creative idea from the people at Fitzugh and Carpenter. ;)

I can guarantee you that they are taking special pains to not take anything away from Jack, since it's a co-owned station. That's one credo of the corporate radio model, that you don't compete with your own. I think that's why Movin's playlist is not that broad, nor includes much mainstream pop. They have to be careful not to harm KVIL, either.

They have to be careful to keep their tax write off status, and keep listeners down.
