I don't work for CBS, and never have (even under its prior incarnations). I am simply trying to (take your pick) 1. show off, 2. explain why stations change format or, 3. help you get your groove back.

Personally, I htink CBS HAD to change KOAI before its billings and under-55 ratings got any lower. We wil not know if this particular format will work for a couple of books, and, given CBS's track record in a couple of other major markets, I would not want to predict success. I am simply agreeing that The Oasis had its days numbered, and the hammer would have fallen soon were it not to have fallen now.
