Actually, I listened for a while last night and they sounded even more lame than usual. They were playing some Commodores slow crap and I didn't here hardly any freestyle dance or anything from the 80's which made them stand out. Finally I got tired of it and shut it off.

Little wonder why "Movin" has been blown out in a lot of markets....

I used to love Movin but I think the problem is that they've become so stale sounding. The thing I really can't figure out is why they haven't changed their imaging since they first signed on. Oh yeah and they still refer to themselves as the "new" Movin. Ha?

What they had till now was part of the initial imaging package. Those people don't work for the station it was part of a deal from the people who created the format. Listen closer, they are attemtping change now... Yeah, agree, not NEW anymore!

Coming from a market that had MOViN for some time, they actually sound pretty good. Yes, you are right the imaging?jingles etc were part of the package from Alan Burns and Associates. I haven't heard "new" in a while but with the number of liners they use I am sure one may have been over looked. Almost sounds like they have put MOViN on the back burner while they get their new station up and running which sounds hot I must say. Is the new station the one CC had to sell? I am a bit confused with the music on MOViN, why are they playing newer stuff when they need to concentrate on the music for their demo. Upbeat, fun, feel good from the 80's, 90's early 2000's. I hear stuff (remixes, and new) I have no idea what they are! Also, maybe not my place but the afternoon jock needs to shut up. Also, why the hell would they put a jock by the name of "Sunny" on when there is a radio staion called Sunny in the Syracuse market. Just my opinion, and thoughts.

You have every right to be confused! The format is suppose to exclude new product yet they have decided to go their own way, mistake! The after noon jock is a poor fit for the station, too big for the room and too street! These are a couple of reasons why it's not taking off! Trying to be too many things to too many people. And these are the same people that are working the country station. Except in their defense, their PD has country experience. I have to admit WOLF sounds pretty decent. There are a few places they could clean up. Seperate the long winded sweepers, slice them up in some cases to make 6 little sweepers that would be more effective and finally since they are a NEW country station (unless the voice guy has the inflection wrong) don't play those "new country" sweepers into 20 year old Garth singles, duh! FYI, Yo Sunny Jo's days are numbered, but you didn't hear that from me!
