moving 1075 portland oregon bad radio

the moving radio station in portland is wack they did bad in rating book they came in 15 do you think they flip the switch cbs hasnt put no money to the station the jocks sound like outta high school

For once, me and Fresh are actually in agreement. "Movin" really rates at the bottom of the barrell (as far as I am concerned) as the similarly-formatted "Charlie's FM" which helped kill off landmark Oldies station KISN.

No format, completely random automated selection with little or no real structure, poor voicetracking and the content, generally, sucks. The production quality is indicitave that CBS seems to be putting ZERO money or effort into making the station a success here in PDX.

(That, and their TV spots are generally pointless. But I'm not going to open that particular kettle of worms any further around here.....)

When radio turns into a meaningless jukebox (like Movin' or Charlie's) it loses all its meaning of existance, i.e. to provide a public service. If it's randomness I want, I'll just slip one of my mixed CDs into the player and listen to that. (Of which can be said about/by a number of other un-named fellow Portlanders whom I know personally.)

Case in point...............
