MP103: What's The Deal?

From the Horse's Mouth

Before online rumors and mud-slinging commence...I'll let you know why:

I have decided to leave Northeast Broadcasting - to spend more time with my wife and kids. I am going to be moving out of Burlington for the Coast of Maine - and to pursue some of my non-radio interests. Probably to go back for a Master's Degree in History, and settle into a life of Teaching and Writing...

Its not without a little trepidation - I think that we have set up a good station with MP 103...Burlington/Plattsburgh is a very good market - with a lot of talented programmers and excellent stations...I'm curious to see how B/P getting "Jacked" is going to play out...as well as the future of a "Post Stern" market...

But, sometimes, family comes first.

It's nice to know that there are STILL people out there who prefer to choose the "tangibles" (wife, children) over the "intangibles" (radio stations that possess NEW FORMATS EVERY MONTH and "SWINGING DOOR" PERSONNEL to try and make 'em work?).

You made a good choice, Scott!

You did good work. My wife and I enjoyed Alice. Local radio is always better than bird stuff.

Best of luck on your future endeavors.
