MP3 Players on the Plane?

I'm not really sure where to post this question, but here it is, I have a Sandisk mp3 512mb player Next time I go off on a trip, I want to be able to take it along, It does have a FM radio on it. That shouldnt be a problem with the plane as long as I dont turn on the FM radio right? I do also have a Dell DJ but the battery is dead on it.

...sorry. I saw the topic, and thought it was a new movie

GET THESE M-----F------ MP3 PLAYERS OFF THIS M-----F------ PLANE!!!

On a serious note, I used to have a Walkman (back when we were young, we used portable cassette players...). Also had FM on it. Plane landed, I'm here, nobody said anything, no problems.

You can take this onboard US airlines, even after the events of several weeks ago. I carry an iPod and an XM Enno and have flown on 6 flights since the British incident with no trouble. You can not use the radio, but it seems half the plane has an iPod or similar device.
