MPBN ends its annual auction after 40 years

Maine Public Broadcasting cancels its over-the-air auction set to air next April and will auction off donated items in November instead. Wonder what the donors hoping for free airtime think of that...and how on earth do they manage to squander two-thirds of revenues with expenses?
