MPBN (Maine) To Have Less Viewers

According to the article, Maine Public Broadcasting (MPBN) is doing some cost cutting. They will shut down their radio transmitter in Fort Kent and the TV transmitter in Calais by the New Brunswick border. No mention as to whether they meant both analog and digital for WMED-TV/DT. I'm going to guess both of them here.

and as i type this i'm getting a blank channel slate on Channel 12 on DISH network...did they switch to all digital early or is this a dish problem?

According to MPBN's site, they all switched to digital-only today (1/11).

And apparently, DISH is not on the ball, which may mean bad news come 2/17.

MPBN went digital only early this morning (Sunday) I popped in a tape to the VCR and set it to record between 12midnight and 8AM...curious to see if they give any final IDs, or what their last analog signal looked like, and what/if came on after...Haven't had a chance to play it back yet.
