Mr.Gregg Rivers-Please,Please!

No decission has been made about HOH at this time. If I'm playing as much 80's music on the drive at 5 as you say, why do I need Dee anyway? ;)

For me, I want to hear a bigger variety of 80's bands so a show like that helps. There are other 80's shows out there as well. LOL-I am not complaining but I need a break from AC/DC!

Gregg

First off glad to see the posted speculations of your becoming post mortus, where a bit off.

No disrespect to Dee, but put out another album already. Dee may needed, but only to add new material to the rotation.

About the only syndicated show I can truly say I like is the Wax Museum, but I grew up listening to Russ Albums in the swamps of Tampa Bay and trust him to show a degree of good taste.
The best thing about satellite is that I dont have to buy it. They may have a faster track to get independent stuff on the air, and good luck to them keeping that part going. But I've heard all the NY slant I can stand.

Gregg walks the walk on getting community fund-raisers announced. I have to vouch for that.

I have to disagree. Those of us who grew up in the 80's are left out. There are a ton of us who still love the hair bands. Heck, look at the popularity of VH1's Rock of Love. It would not kill Rock 92.3 to give us a lousy two hours a week to hear some 80's rock. The station was really headed in the right direction and all of a sudden it has gone back to no fun, repeat the same tired old bands corporate crap.

I can tell you that Rock 92.3 has changed absolutely nothing about the music or how it's scheduled with only ONE exception. In order to eliminate repeated requests for the same songs, we dropped "all requests" during "The Drive @ Five." Jody Austin STILL DOES two hours of requests during "The Classic Rock Cafe" As far as I can tell, Rock 92.3 is the ONLY Classic Rock station in this area that plays TWO HOURS of requests daily! ;) Feel free to correct me if I'm mistaken about that. So I have to say that your statement that "it has gone back to no fun, repeat the same tired old bands corporate crap" is inaccurate. Corporate does NOT schedule the music here. Jody and I do that. ;) Thanks for listening and keep rockin!

Not everyone is available to listen to the lunch hours Gregg. What about the people who get off at five o'clock. As far as repeating the same songs, simpLy don't play them.
