I see "Mr. Music" Norm N. Nite will be back at one of his old stomping grounds this Sunday Jan. 10th, 2010, from Noon to 6 PM as he will host a six hour Elvis special....hopefully WMJI will see the opportunity to get him back on the air sometime down the road as a regular once again-Rock On Norm!!!

Its about time we need someone like Norm to show these young people how a radio show should done contact Magic tell them you want more of Norm and some of the other D J s that are out of work that know how to entertain people not just read the cards and also tell them to quit playing the same songs everyday as will.

I agree. It sure would be nice to have Mr. Music back on local radio. I loved listening to him on Saturday/Sunday nights on Majic in the early 90's. Their current weekend schedule is quite lame (except for Casey Casem's show).

Norm's excellent LIVE Cleveland show (from the Rock Hall)
can always be heard EVERY Saturday and Sunday 3-6 PM
on Sirius satellite radio (channel 5)...commercial free of course.

For those without Sirius...(on Sundays)
there's always FM 88-9's 50's /60's...
commercial-free of course
(sorry couldn't resist).

I'll be listening. I got into radio b/c of Norm. Was fortunate enough to get to work with him, briefly, and even have an autographed copy of a hard back "Rock On Almanac".

I emailed WMJI PD Keith Abrams to give kudos on enlisting Norm for this six hour show. Especially since most "classic hits" (pop) stations ignore Elvis. And, it's just a great thing to have Norm back on the air. Norm is still a big name in Cleveland radio, and especially with the upper core of WMJI.
