Wow, Judy Jordan and Murphy Martin dealing with health problems, now Jerry Haynes is sick, too. Just had a pacemaker implanted, and has early onset Parkinson's. Jerry turned 81 in January. Email me off the board if you'd like to contact him or send a [email protected].
 
Wow, now thats a guy id though would never have health problems in his later years. The good news with his early onset parkinsons is that it can be treated and managed pretty well with meds. My thoughs go out to Jerry and his family.
 
Wow. thoughts and many prayers to Jerry and his family. He entertained me lots of mornings in the early sixties. I still think of him when he said you should drink water first thing in the morning and I did, a few times.
 
those of us who are 35 to 55 and grew up in the DFW area remember him well

I can remember when I realize the guy that also filled in on sports was the same as Mr. Peppermint.
