MRS Venture Up to no good again

OK, but WZYQ is not even on-air. They were evicted from their transmitter site back in June. How do you change the format of a station that is not on-air? And last I heard, KZYQ was still off-air too.

Pine Bluff update-- was Re: MRS Venture Up to no good again

The former(they were supposed to be "sold" to Excel, but who knows) MRS/Delta 4 stations continue to set lower bars for broadcasting.....

KCLA 1400 The only station of the bunch that seens to be properly modulated and not having a landline audio setup. Running Fox Sports Radio. Only problem is that KABZ 103.7 in Little Rock airs a good deal of FSR programming.

KOTN 1490 The country music formerly on 101.3 was moved here...and very distorted and horrible sounding.

KPBQ 101.3 Black gospel that has that unique, distorted sound only a half-a** broadcaster could come up with. Most AM stations sound better, must be using a telephone feed and there is the usual buzz to boot.

KZYP 99.3 R&B, but audio same great "quaility" as KPBQ.

No wonder, I don't listen to much "local" radio.

Let me get this straight. The 'ZYQs that are not on the air and KZYP that's on the air are rhythmic oldies? Do they have a consultant to do that crap or was it just coming out of satellite? Oh boy! This is some big mess-up here. I mean what kind of desparation are they going up to these days? All I want to know is that if Russell paid his debt to the Easthams and if not, why?

Pine Bluff has a lot of potential to make it happen and now, it's getting immensfully worse. What a joke of an operation to run if you're working for a station with absolutely no direction in programming! REALLY sad!
