MSNBC.com Mulls Name Change

In other words NBC's opinionated news website is considering rebranding itself to disassociate from NBC's opinionated news network. Arrange the deck chairs all you like, it's not going to help until you get the liberal spin out of the news reporting.

Probably a sound decision. Why would anyone who wants to run a serious news operation want to
be associated with the likes of Keith Olbermann?

Ha ha... Okay, let's get 'em all out of the way: MSDNC, MSLSD, BSNBC...

When I have them on, I don't remember them proclaiming "The Place for NEWS". I think the slogan is.... "The Place for POLITICS".

If you run broadcasts aimed at Conservatives.... you get the Conservatives who wish to feast on politics.

If you run broadcasts aimed at Liberals.... you get the Liberals who wish to feast on politics.

What could be more American than that?

So. Do they need to get the liberal spin out.... or do they need to do a better job of the liberal spin?

The name "America's Talking" kind of has a nice ring to it. ;o)

Why fix what isn't broken. They are the 3rd most popular news site in America.
So goes the first adult response to this thread.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if they renamed the news website once Comcast takes control. There will be big changes across all aspects of NBC-Universal.
