MSNBC: Keith Olbermanns 9/11 Commentary

It ran just before 9 eastern, before the Presidents speech. Rare is a recommendation from me to catch much on FOXMSNBCNN, whatever. however, the one time sportscaster, and network vagabond better known to me for dry, sarcastic humour, with a twist here and there brought forth a very....very...solid commentary. Grammatically perfect, delivered live, without one single hiccup.

Truthfully, CBS may have hired away the wrong NBC employee for their nightly news.

Keith has been getting bolder on Countdown in the last few months, and it accelerated big time after Dan Abrams took over. Of course, Keith can write his own ticket just like Chris Matthews can because those two shows are the only bright spots on MSNBC. Abrams canned Rita Sucrets Cosby's hour long torture fest, realized Scarborough County was more apt than Country and moved his show around, and buried the always irrelevent Tucker Carlson in the early evening.

Olbermann's viewership numbers give him enough power to do what he wants and it seems his show is acting as a counterweight to O'Reilly quite effectively.

Just reading the transcript on "Bloggermann" does not do the comments justice. Watch the video; it's proof positive that, as some say about comedy, it's all in the delivery. I truly enjoyed Keith Olbermann during his ESPN and Fox Sports days, but I've found I enjoy him a thousand times more in his current position at MSNBC. To me, it's not about what he is saying but how he delivers it. His commentary is filled with passion, intelligence, wit, and a feeling that he truly believes what he is saying. I don't think you see that with any other commentator on TV, regardless of their political slant.

Olbermann just happens to have discovered a very erudite and articulate way of saying 'Everything is Bush's fault, waaah, waah.'

lol..ok son. You might wish to re-read that commentary....I've stood closer to the right side of the aisle, than the left..mainly because at one time there was at least a shred of a public plan on how things should be...as opposed to the left which simply lays the worlds evil at the foot of anyone who dares utter an opinion counter to them. That aside, I had to agree with Olbermann.

All politics aside...and I won't respond to any political flames on this thread....it simply was spot on to what we've all been through since 2001.
