This is such BS.None of this should have happened. It was a joke and the same kind of jokes are said everday by all of you and i and all the comedians. Al sharpton is a [EDIT]and someone need to do something about him. He takes pride in ruining peoples lives and hes struck again.

Learn about racism before you lose your job. It was NOT a joke. IT WAS A PLANNED RACIST COMMENT.

Imus is a racist. What comes around, goes around. It took 40 years but he's gone for good. CBS Radio will can him for sure now.

IMUS did it to himself .

Please it was a joke. Nappy headed hos. Are you people kidding me.The only reason those girls are upset are 1 because they lost and 2 because That fat retard Sharpton stuck his noise into something that he didnt have to get involved with.

By what you are saying I should go sue the Waynes bros for making the movie white chicks and making white people look stupid. Or I should sue eddie murphy,Dave chapelle, and anyone else who has made a comment or joke about a white person? This is just a bunch of [EDIT]being crybabies.

[EDIT-profanity]

Hey, lets boycott those who boycott. A joke gone wrong, one of many, everyday on American radio, can be no worse that the vile we watch grow in the rap charts. Clean up that radio, and his remarks are out of place.

i now have no reason to watch that public access mess they call msnbc..

Perhaps FOX News Channel can pick him up. I'd bet they would have stood up to this group. As a side note I noticed there are a few white girls on the Rutgers Girls Basketball Team. Wouldn't a normal person interpret Imus comments as a sweeping generalization? Last I checked the white woman didn't seem to have "nappy hair".

Please tell us what a "NORMAL PERSON" is?

If you had watched Fox News Channel, you know they are having a "Fair and Balanced" discussion on Imus and racism.

Nobody in the short term can hire Imus. He's damaged goods.

Listen to some of the rap music and it makes Imus look like an angel.

But no one is bitching about that ::)

Wonder if the ink has dried on a contract with XM...

NBC News president Steve Capus' internal message to staffers:

"Over the course of the last week many of you have reached out to me and expressed your strong viewpoints on the Don Imus situation. I've had countless conversations, e-mail exchanges and phone calls with people throughout this company. I've heard you loud and clear. Therefore, we are announcing tonight that MSNBC will no longer simulcast the Imus radio program...

My primary concern has been and always will be the integrity of this division. We are the guardians of the good name of NBC News -- each and every one of us. There has been a trust placed in us. We must honor and respect this trust. That, in short is why we have taken this action." From: http://mediabistro.com/tvnewser/

He's too much of a hot potato now and the near future (year or two or more) to be on anywhere.

IMUS did it to himself .

I wouldn't be too enthused about Imus' predictament Rapking because the focus on many talk shows is gradually shifting to the ubiquitous misogyny in rap lyrics. I think the billion dollar hip hop industry might ultimately take as big a hit as Imus, and at a time when rap sales are way down and hip hop stations are struggling in the ratings, especially with young white suburbanites.

It was a joke, albeit a bad one, and nobody got hurt. The girls would NEVER have heard about it (as if they listen to Imus) if the MSM hadn't gone ape over it. And I meant "Ape" as in "Crazy" not anything else. Wait. Can I say "crazy?" Dang it!

Let's hope the rap lyrics are next to feel the heat. The line in the sand has been drawn now.
