There are some changes we know about for the MSNBC line up. Ali Velshi was commenting that he will be moving to weekends. He currently co-hosts weekdays at 1pm with Stephanie Ruhle and solo anchors at 3pm. Velshi seemed to be happy, telling a fill in anchor that they will be back to back on weekends in the New Year. But isn't going from two hours on weekdays to a weekend gig sort of a come-down? I'm not sure if I got this info correct.
And we know that NPR's Joshua Johnson, who had hosted the 10 a.m. to Noon show "1A," left just before Christmas. After some good appearances on Meet The Press, he'll be a full time MSNBC person, although he hasn't said exactly what he'll be doing or what shift he'll be working.
I guess this will all become clear on the Monday after New Year's.
