I sure hate that MSNBC disappeared from XM and Sirius a few years ago. It would seem like to me that MSNBC would be willing to offer it's signal for free to satellite radio companies, since it gives more coverage with no costs to them. I wish they would go back on XM at least. That's the one I have.

Hate to break it to ya, but as you say, it has been gone for a couple of years and you are the first to complain. Its return is not imminent.

I second that complaint, and have complained, just not here.
My main reason is to hear Olbermann's pgm, don't care much about the rest of their schedule.

you can subscribe to countdown's audio or video podcasts. i subscribe to the video podcast because i'm at work when countdown is on and can't tape it because the tv's being used at the time. so you can get it online.
but i also think that msnbc should be on the radio. you have pravdaERRRRRRRfox news and cnn. you also have cnbc and headline news. why not msnbc? when i can't get to a computer, i'd like for some outlet to get countdown everyday.

1. sirius added fox talk because they were forced to. fox would not allow one without the other. sirius had no interest in picking up fox talk.
2. independant cable industry reports have stated that no one watches fox business. it would take fox business i believe more than 50 years to catch up to cnbc, the only caveat being that cnbc would have zero ratings growth during that time. you do want satellite radio to succeed right?
3. what's your problem with olbermann? does keith's evicerations of billo nightly make you that upset? seems to me that since a lot of people think it would be a good idea to bring msnbc back (along with c-span radio) it would be a good idea. the addition would certainly balance out the sirius side with its three overtly conservative stations (fox talk, fox news, sirius patriot) to its one-one and a half (half of sirius left and outq).

Let's face it - CNBC is STRONGER in terms of business news coverage than Fox Business - I love Neil Cavuto, but even Neil CANNOT hold a CANDLE to Kramer, Kudlow, Deutsch, and EVERYONE else!!

Most have to remember that, for a while until now, MSNBC was a joke and an also-ran. Maybe now that they are picking up traction by leaning Left (see also: PBS/NPR, CBS, ABC, NBC, etc. CNN is just in a no-class by themselves) it will find its way back to Sat Rad.
XM dropped MSNBC in mid to late 06 as I recall when MSNBC started airing more of their documentaries, etc starting at 11pm ET. You would have several hours of dateline NBC, or an inside prison type show. Not very appealing to radio listeners.
I could see America Left adding Olberman and Maddow (however you spell her name) live or in delay, with those shows gaining ratings traction.
When CNBC-TV is airing other non-business content like "Deal or no Deal" or sporting events moved from NBC due to weather delays or breaking news, the XM feed carries CNBC World usually.
I would have been much happier had XM made Bloomberg 24/7 (even with sports interruptions around this time of year) rather than adding Fox Business.
Of course, a Sling Box connected to a DVR at home makes for a more enjoyable workday.
