MTA Transit Strike?

Besides the all-news or business stations (880, 1010 and 1130) and their coverage, what impact will the MTA transit strike have on radio in the city? I heard about the HOV 4 restrictions on cars going south of 96th Street, plus with Viacom and most others being in that vicinity, I'm sure it's all one HUGE headache.

Is it?
I would think Voice Tracking makes this less of a problem. In some CCU station, all a personality needs to do is log in to the computer at the studio, and do his show. And if they can't make it in, just bring in a VT from somewhere else.

Not a problem, really.

Yesterday, WABC PD Phil Boyce told R&R, "All programming personnel have so far reported to work, but most of them got here before 5am because no cars were allowed into the city unless you had four in a car. That restriction is in effect from 5am-11am.

"We do have a number of employees stuck with no way in. Those employees live in the city or the five boroughs and rely on MTA to get here. Right now we have about eight or nine like that, and they are still out there trying to get in. All I can say this morning is, good luck with that."

I am working from home today and saw that this morning. I agree radio-info.com is keeping me busy.
