MTV Bringing Back "Teen Wolf"

These fools must be seriously scraping the bottom of the cookie jar for ideas. Wasn't there a cartoon and sequel to this movie, and they both tanked. Just like I predict this reincarnation will.

In a related story, Dish Network is planning to yank MTV and start their own music network. (Okay, that part is not true. ;D )

Hey, they were one of the first service providers to carry IMF (International Music Feed) until it diminished :(

Sounds like they are just trying cash into werewolves and vampires craze going on with teens these days, thanks to Twilight

Speaking of Teen Werewolves and cartoons, there was a show called Fang Face that was produced by Ruby Spears productions(Joe Ruby and Ken Spears founded the company after leaving Hanna Barbera) and it was pretty much the same idea as Teen Wolf, except for a few things: Fangface was basically a Scooby Doo knockoff only with a teen werewolf instead of a talking dog, and that show debut in 1978 whereas the movie Teen Wolf came out in I think 1983(someone can correct mne if i'm wrong). So basically Ruby and Spears had the teen werewolf idea first, and then the movie with Micheal J Fox came out a few years later; interesting when you think about it.

Interesting theory... And remember, in between those two shows, there was The Drak Pack.

Thanks; I hadn't heard of that show until I saw it listed in a TV book I have, I guess they might have gotten more inspiration from that show too.

...with pilots ordered for new series based on Howard the Duck and The Breakfast Club....
