MTV VMA presenters call for more rock

looks like even people who are on MTV are asking for more rock and less (c)rap. ZZ Top w/ the Rancounters are playing on the VMAs. Could this be a new trend in the return of rock music in the mianstream as 2006 winds down? Looks like the people are FINALLY getting tired of crummy two note songs.
