MTV2 Getting Music Intensive Again?

Tonight I notice MTV2's prime time schedule is filled with music video related programming, and as I go through the next several days on MTV2's schedule, most of their programming consist of music video blocks and their Sucker Free/Elite 8/Rock countdown shows. This is definately a big plus in my book as I did not see the need for MTV2 to be an exact replica of MTV. I cetainly hope this is a permanent thing for them. Who knows?

It could be just a build up to the July fourth long week-end.
What is MTV 2 doing for that?
Music videos? Or reruns of other programming?
 
I noticed through Sunday their programming is music heavy and from there on the week of the 4th, it goes back to MTV style programming with mostly non music programming filling the entire day. damn. hopefully it's just for the 4th and they go back to the music.

There's a song out there due for an update...internet killed the Video Star... :D ;D
