MTV2 To Air "Football"

I thought that if I didn't put the word "football" in quotes, the title of this thread would be even more misleading. But it's just another in a long line of moves by the Viacom family of "music" networks (the emphasis on the quotes around the word "music") airing non-music programming.

Starting this fall, MTV2 will begin airing a weekly highlight show from the Lingerie Football League.

You read right, not the NFL, but the LFL.

I guess it's better for them to start off with a highlight show on cable than start off with their own network and struggle to fill 24/7/365 with LFL action, news, and information. Don't want to bite off more than they can chew.

It seems more fit there than KDOC in LA hahahahaha
I remember that KDOC would air LFL football games every Friday night
You have phrased that as if KDOC will not air the next season. ;)

If MTV will be airing the LFL, then that actually speaks volumes about the quality of programming KDOC-56 Los Angeles has been pioneering lately. Who would have thought lowly KDOC would be soon revolutionizing the future of the cable television landscape? I sure as hell wouldn't have predicted it in a million years.

Next season on MTV... Wally George takes you to the place where the SEAT is HOT! Followed by a half hour infomercial. THEN, it's time for Hogan's Heroes followed by a half hour infomercial. THEN BUCKLE UP cause it's Get Smart and another half hour infomercial.

Cable tv is ultimately doomed if any part of it is patterned after KDOC.

I'm so glad I pulled the plug 15 years ago.

Great. Just what we need. Another MTC network cutting back on the music. What a joke to give air time to these two bit &ores.
