Well actually during the splitting Viacom renamed themselves CBS Corp. and then a new Viacom company was developed but yes the old CBS/Viacom has been split in half effective back in 2005.
CBS Corp. owning obviously both CBS TV&Radio, the CW, King World, Spelling Television, and Showtime while the new Viacom retains the MTV Networks and other channels like Nickelodeon, TVLand and Comedy Central.
