I find that in todays world of for lack of a better term "clusters" that traditional radio management systems are not whats needed in todays fast paced environment. What do you think fellow board members???

Gertrude Hawk Cashew Clusters are my favorite. An acquired taste is the "Musky From the Susky" cluster which needs quite a bit of hot sauce in my opinion.
As far as "clusters" in the radio workplace,I would say use protection and don't get caught.

I don't know why people make radio harder than it has to be. Hire decent talent, play the hits, do some promotions, be active in the community, find a few sharp sales people, and do a little news.
Edited by NigelWick on 09/15/05 02:51 PM.

Have to rank them,
1. Michael Mootz clusters.
2. Gertrude Hawk.
3. Russell Stover.
4. See's. (California clusters).
Speaking of management clusters, you might want to take a look
at how the fictional Fortress Broadcasting group fared in that
novel "A RADIO STORY/We Wish You Well In Your Future Endeavors"
now on sale at Wegmans and Price Chopper Superstores in the area.

Dave you get the Jim Ward Huckster of the Year Award. For President's Day, I think you should give away a FREEEEEEEE CHERRY PIE with every book sold.

Wow, "Fortress Broadcasting," you really got creative there. It's a good thing you have the "fictional" disclaimer.

Is there a fictional Exitcom Broadcasting or Clover Communications in your book, too? lol

Re: GOO GOO

Clover, that would have been funny. I wonder what Big Bob Little would have thought about that?

"HAH! THAT'S FUNNY! HOW COME YOU'RE NOT FUNNY ON THE RADIO? YOU'RE FIRED! HAH!"

And I shall eat that cherry pie washing it down with a fine merlot
or TAB, (depending on the time of day) basking in that honor. That's
high priase. Check out the character Red Rose, in Part One of the book.

And don't run off the few sharp sales people you have just
because their salaries are approaching the GSM or GM's level!
