Multi-Camera TBS College Game on DISH

N

network

Guest
On Saturday night, I was scanning the channels of DISH and noticed TBS was offering multiple camera angles to view the game they were airing. In addition to the over-the-air feed (with graphics), they also had about 5 other camera "views" as well (goal lines, various sidelines). The other camera views didn't have any graphics...only the main TBS OTA feed did. You also some 'raw camera' work in prepping for the next play, etc. They aired on DISH Network's alternate sports channels. It was very interesting and really hope they do it again.

I searched ahead to next Saturday, but right now I do not see the alternate camera views scheduled.

Yes, this is - and will be - a regular feature.

Recently dish Network changed its "dish home interactive" service to include a six-feed matrix on channel 100 (remember the Olympics & the election?). which affords the viewer one-stop surfing of CNN, MSNBC, Court TV, E!, Weather Channel and one other channel I don't recall now. The highlighted channel's audio is heard while you are on channel 100, and you can go to that channel directly by hitting 'select' on your remote.

During TBS's live college football telecasts this season (all of them) the matrix will be switched over to the TBS broadcast and the five selected isolated cameras.
